Sorry, I'm not very versed instuff like this, I'm just curious as to wehether it's easy to do or not.

and add "background-attachment:fixed" to it immediately afterwards. But because of the way I made this layout, that ends up looking sort of odd; the swirls stay visible but they no longer look "attached" to the header, they just sort of float in space. =/ I... could try making one with a decoration that would look better fixed in place, but you might need to give me a few days on that.

This will mean that the top part of the leaves doesn't show when you're scrolled up to the top of the journal, but they'll stay in place and look okay when you scroll down.
