Transmogrified - Matsuri (Festival)

Transmogrified style
1024 x 768 resolution or higher

Click the thumbnail to preview the layout.

**Notes: I was going with a simple look for my first Dreamwidth layout, something that despite customizations, would resemble the Transmogrified style. I like the mini icons DW uses, so i haven't deleted them from the code... if you know how and would like to do so, please go ahead ^^

**It will work with navigation strip now! Thanks to [personal profile] wekhter for the help ♥

Also, i don't usually make anime/manga related graphics, for the ones who don't like anime, feel free to replace my header with your own~!

Anyway, find the layout here @ [community profile] inconformista

Hi, please check out Rule 5 for this community. Your actual graphic cannot be larger than 300px on either side; scaling down a larger graphic using HTML does not create a smaller graphic.

If the point is that the image won't exceed the 300 pixels, then why can't it be fixed with HTML?

Because you are resizing a larger image within the browser; the dimensions of the image might be 300px, but the image itself is still larger than that. Someone else had posted an image the same way in another post, but their graphic was something like 1000px wide "resized" with HTML to 300px. People still have to load a 1000px wide image, which defeats the purpose of creating a thumbnail image.

Also, here's a good article on why you shouldn't resize image with HTML.
