I think you know about this problem already, but for me the calendar is just a weeee bit over the top bar.
I have a suggestion for the navigation module! Instead of styling the li class, maybe style the a class into a block and apply the coloring there? Then, the entire thing would become a clickable area (easier access!) and you can do different hover over colors.

I was just thinking the same thing. Other than that wee change, I love this!

I can change the list style for easier clicking, but I tried adding the color change and didn't like it at all. Anyone who uses the layout, however, is welcome to change it if they like.
