as for the resolution problem, I know what a pain tinypic can be, that's why I have a photobucket account as well. I know that when you re-size the background to 1680 and upload it to photobucket as a .png (which prevents major quality loss from PB's side, they compress jpg's horribly, so ALWAYS PNG with photobucket! ;>), then it's below the 1MB limit (929kB for me) and you can use it with full resolution. good bye margins! hope this helps.
